The last town before LG-4 is Matagami where you will find all services ranging from gas stations (diesel and unleaded fuel) to convenience stores (7 days), liquor store (except Sunday), grocery store, motels (Hotel Matagami: 1-819-739-2501) and restaurants. The next service station called Relais 381 is located 381 km (237 miles) further North. Restaurant, motel and gas station (diesel and unleaded fuel) are available. Then there are 449 km (288 miles) without any services: 163 km (102 miles) on a paved road before turning right towards LG-4 and 286 km (181 miles) on a gravel road. Check the Cargair Sign.

There is no grocery store in LG-4; so you must bring everything you need. Remember though that floatplanes have strict weight regulations and we are very serious on that matter. You are allowed 125 lbs. of luggage per person (including food, hunting and fishing gear and carry-on). The overload charge is 2.00$/pound and is shipped on a space available basis only. Please avoid bottles and cans or any other heavy stuff.

Highway 15 North (towards St-Jerome)
Highway 15 North becomes highway 117 North (towards Mont-Laurier)
Stay on Secondary Route 117 North. Turn Right at the junction for Route 311 North
(towards Chute Saint-Philippe/Lac St-Paul/Mont Saint-Michel). Turn Right on Route 309 at Mont Saint-Michel. Travel 6 km, take the gravel road direction Parent (173 km). Check for Cargair Signs, we are located near Lac Mauser.

From Ottawa;
Take MacDonald Cartier Bridge crossing to Quebec
You are on Highway 5 North
Take Route 107 North (in Maniwaki).
Take Secondary Route 117 South (towards Mont-Laurier)
Turn Left for Route 309 North towards Ferme-Neuve and Mont Saint-Michel. 6 km from Saint-Michel, take the gravel road direction Parent (173 km). Check for Cargair Signs,
we are located near Lac Mauser.

Highway 15 North (towards St-Jerome)
Highway 15 North becomes Route 117 north (approx. 90km).
Stay on Secondary Route 117. (approx. 75km). Take Ste-Veronique Exit. Your on F. Lafontaine Boul. (travel 2 km), seaplane base will be on your right.

From Ottawa
Take MacDonald Cartier Bridge crossing to Quebec
You are on Highway 5 North
Take Route 107 North (in Maniwaki).
Take Secondary Route 117 South (towards Mont-Laurier)

Please contact our Reservation Representative to make sure our packages meet your expectations. Once this step established, we will forward a prospectus by mail or e-mail with additional information to help you plan your trip.
